Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between nurses' knowledge and the first actions given to chest trauma patients in the Emergency Unit. The research method used was a survey via questionnaire to nurses on duty in the Emergency Unit. The data collected was analyzed to determine whether there was a correlation between the level of knowledge of nurses and the implementation of appropriate first actions in chest trauma patients. It is hoped that the research results will provide new insights in improving the quality of health services in the Emergency Unit.
